House Sitting

Two visits per day:

  • Water houseplants, garden, and yard
  • Mail brought in and forwarded to you if needed
  • Newspapers and advertising flyers brought in
  • Turn lights, TV, or radio off and on
  • Open and close blinds and curtains
  • Open and shut windows
  • Fill bird/other outdoor feeders
  • Set out trash cans

Pet and House Sitting

Dogs, cats, and other pets 2-3 visits per day.
In addition to the house sitting services listed above:

  • Clean and refill food and water containers
  • Yard exercise and playtime for dogs
  • Dog walking if requested
  • Change litter or other critter bedding
  • Brushing
  • Lots of love and attention

House Cleaning

Professional, experienced cleaning of your house, room, or yard:

  • Dusting of furniture, window blinds, ledges, and corners
  • Dishes and cleaning of kitchen stove, counter, and sink
  • Cleaning of glass furniture and interiors of windows
  • Vacuuming carpets
  • Sweep and wash hardwood or tile floors
  • Cleaning of bathroom sink, mirrors, tub, and toilet
  • Picking up back yard trash and yard debris removal

Pet Care

We can help with your pet while you are away during the day or evening. Please let us know if you have any special requests:

  • Yard break (great for new puppies)
  • Administer medication
  • Pet Taxi - take pet to the vet or groomer

Pet Photography

We'll come to your house, photograph any number of pets (or two-legged family members) and provide the photos to you on a CD
Optional services include creating products from one or more of your favorite photos:

We can run your errands for you if you don't have time:

  • Pick/Drop off clothes at cleaners
  • Drop off bank deposits
  • Pick up prescriptions
  • Package mailing - Post Office/FedEx
  • Invitation/Holiday Card prep and mailing
  • Gift wrapping (extra charge for materials, or we can use your supplied gift wrap, bows and tags)
  • Purchase gift cards or certificates
  • Locate hard to find items or gifts
  • Other services upon request

Key Keeping

We will keep two copies of your house key, a spare car key, or anything else you need spare keys to. These will be kept in a locked safe at our house, identified only by your customer number. If you get locked out, we can bring a spare key to you. This service is also highly recommended for customers using my other services. That way, if you have something unexpected come up, you will be able to call us for assistance without having to arrange to get me your key first.

Recycling

To help the planet and the community, I am providing a recycling service for specific items for a nominal charge.

  • Eyeglasses - will be donated to Give the Gift of Sight
  • Prescription Medications - will be donated to The Starfish Project or taken to a local pharmacy for disposal if they are expired.
  • Batteries - Recycled at Batteries Plus
  • Cell Phones - Recycled at Sprint
  • Quotes for other items available on request

Gift Certificates are available in any amount. This is a great "thank you" or gift for your relatives, friends, and neighbors in Acres Green! We are happy to hand deliver to the recipient with a personalized message, or we can deliver or mail it directly to the purchaser.

About Our Rates

Our rates vary depending on what type, the frequency, and the duration of services you need. Most often, we will be able to quote you over the phone or by email. In the instances where we need to come out to your house to look at the work that needs to be done, we are happy to do so. There is never a charge for us to quote you. As we live in Acres Green, we are only a hop, skip, and a jump away.
